Jorma Matilainen

Jorma Matilainen studied Mechanical Engineering in University of Oulu and graduated in 1979 as a Master of Engineering. Later he made further studies and graduated in 1995 as a Licentiate of Technology. Mr. Matilainen worked more than 13 years in different companies mainly in product development and design tasks as well as three years in research and teaching tasks before he entered in 1997 to JAMK University of Applied Sciences as a Principal Lecturer. At JAMK, his main lecturing areas have been product development and machine design. Besides lecturing he has been leading and taking part in different development and research projects. Mr. Matilainen retired from JAMK in September 2019.
