Silvia Satorres

Silvia Satorres received the Industrial Electronics and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Jaén, Jaén, Spain in 2003 and 2010, respectively. Since 2004, she has been with the System Engineering and Automation Department, University of Jaén, where she is currently teaching courses on computer vision, robotics and automation. She has worked for research projects on computer vision applied to fault detection, and automatic assembly. Her research interests include computer vision applied to quality control, robotics, and sensor planning. Actually, she is Deputy Director of Communications and Institutional Relations in the Higher Polytechnic School of Jaén.
